EmpowHER Program

The HayaHelps EmpowHER program aims to enable grass-root improvement by optimizing the emotional state and quality of life of 20 refugee women aged 16-25 that have resiliently endured severe trauma, loss and separation by  (1)  conducting mental health workshops and (2) implementing sustainable entrepreneurial projects that build vocational skills and enhance financial literacy. Through these two components, we strive to recognize the tremendous resilience of women by helping them overcome socio-economic barriers, supporting the settlement of newcomers through efficient and clear pathways to employment, and providing entrepreneurial opportunities.
