Heroes4Hunger
United Nations Goal 2- Zero Hunger: HayaHelps seeks to aid those who are struggling with hunger and all forms of malnutrition through our Heroes4Hunger Food Aid program. We aim to ensure sustainable access to our programs in Africa, Asia, and Middle East to combat famine in crisis-hit areas by providing beneficiaries with warm meals and food boxes/baskets with groceries that could last a family of 4-5 for a whole month.
Special Food Baskets
Each food basket contains nutritionally balanced items and non-perishable items to last a family of 4-5 around 1 month. Each food basket is region specific and sensitive to the dietary customs and traditions of the country of distribution. For example, most baskets contain oil, flour, milk, rice, beans, salt, sugar, canned vegetables, with the addition of pudding, crackers, spices, and other items.
Emergency Packs
Distributed to displaced people and refugees in disaster relief zones. Each food pack contains nutritionally balanced and staple grocery items to last a family of 4-5 around 1 month. Each food pack is specific to the country of distribution, however most contain oil, flour, rice, beans, lentils, pasta, salt, sugar, canned vegetables, and tea/coffee packs.
Warm Meal Distributions
Distributed to homeless, low-income and Indigenous Peoples across North America, Africa, Middle East and South Asia. Each distribution varies in meal options.
It costs as low as $2 to feed a person.
